Pain Relief Remedies from the Kitchen
Sometimes, in case of an emergency, if medicines are not available at home, there’s no need to panic. Your kitchen itself hides many natural remedies that provide instant relief and also protect you from the side effects of medicines.
1. For severe headache:
Make a paste of dry ginger with water and apply it on the forehead. It may cause slight burning, but the headache will go away.
Place frozen peas on the head for 5–10 minutes for stress- or fatigue-related headache.
Roast carom seeds (ajwain), tie them in a cloth, and inhale their aroma.
Apply ice packs.
Eat one apple every morning on an empty stomach.
2. For acidity and stomach pain:
Mix 1 pinch baking soda + ½ tsp roasted cumin powder + 8 drops lemon juice + salt in water and drink.

Dissolve asafoetida in water and apply around the navel.

Take ½ tsp fenugreek powder with water.
Eat 5 basil leaves + 2 neem leaves daily.

Drink bottle gourd juice on an empty stomach.
16. For toothache:
Apply clove oil on the tooth.
Gargle with salt water.
Gargle with warm water mixed with carom seeds and salt.
17. For constipation:
Drink a glass of lukewarm water before sleeping.
Eat 2 soaked figs on an empty stomach in the morning.
Take Triphala powder with lukewarm water for relief.
18. For cold and cough:
Drink ginger and basil tea.
Drink turmeric milk at night.
Inhale roasted carom seeds to clear blocked nose.
19. For hair problems:
Apply coconut oil mixed with lemon juice to remove dandruff.
Apply amla oil for strong hair.
Soak fenugreek seeds overnight, make a paste, and apply to hair.
20. For better eyesight:
Drink carrot juice every morning.
Eat amla murabba to improve vision.
Soak Triphala powder in water overnight and wash eyes with it in the morning.
