If a girl’s father can fulfill the demands, the marriage takes place; otherwise, it is rejected. Society foolishly believes that if a car is received in dowry, their social status will increase. Families are forming bonds with cars and money, not with daughters. No one values the fact that the parents have given their heart’s treasure – their daughter – who will serve the new family selflessly. So why demand dowry?
